In celebration of Juneteenth and the 1 year anniversary of the the opening of the EyeSeeMe African American Children's Bookstore, we are proud to sponsor, The Journey, a story of the Israelites.  This is a powerful story of a people dispersed from the Promise Land, through the Sahara to Western Africa, and then to the Americas.

Brought to you by the G.A.P.A.S. (Genesis Advanced Performing Arts Society), The Journey is a theatrical musical filled with soulful negro spirituals, gospel music, poetry and dance perfectly woven together portraying the story of a people once broken, who found their way through the hallways of time enduring unimaginable experiences, and yet still triumphing as survivors.

Come and experience the passage of history; you will laugh and you will cry. You will be amazed. This is a show you will not want to miss!
